The Chef Didier Pierrart invites you to his restaurant which has been accorded the label "Restaurateurs
de France" and recommended by the Guide du Routard. A restaurant which respects the gastronomic
traditions of the Thiérache region while offering a modern and refined cuisine.
The seasonal regional products, bought from local markets, combined with the chef’s creative touch, gives you the taste of this traditional destination –the Thiérache.
The restaurant is big and well-lit and all the furnishings, decoration
and floral arrangements have been specially chosen to enhance your
eating experience. A spacious room is available for private
meals or
for family gatherings : wedding receptions, baptisms, first communion...
It is also an ideal place for meals or business meetings : seminars,
cocktail parties...
There is also a small private lounge which completes the facilities offered by the La Paix restaurant.

Whether choosing "A la carte" or from the menu of the La Paix restaurant, you will be treated to the
gastronomic traditions of the Aisne and the Thiérache areas which have been elaborated on by the Chef Didier Pierrart : Game served with seasonal vegetables, fish and shellfish from the local rivers, local cheeses such as Maroilles, the Boulette d'Avesnes or the Dauphin, and sweet specialities such as honey and red berries from Thiérache...
Besides our selected wine cellar where the Côteaux
Champenois are well stocked, traditional drinks from the region have
not been forgotten : champagnes from the Aisne, farmhouse cidre from
the Thiérache, traditionnally brewed local beers and an aperitif drink
called "la Folie Douce" (an aperitif from Thiérache made
from a tradition recipe - an aperitif drink which results from the
natural
fermenting of red berries: strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants,
blackcurrants, blackberries and rhubarb).
The restaurant can accommodate groupes of up to 35 people.
